This course is the first in our AVTF pathway. This pathway prepares students for employment or entry into a postsecondary education program in the audio and video technology career field. Students will advance through topics including terminology, safety, basic equipment, script writing, working in production teams, and much more!

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in our daily news show, News 4 You, at the end of the year. They will also gain experience with operating cameras and learning how to tell a story through script writing. This is a project based course, and students will also learn time management skills for this deadline driven industry.
