Class Descriptions

Monday (Ballet Barre): Students will learn classical ballet, ballet enrichment, and terminology. Classes will focus on ballet technique, proper body alignment, vocabulary, and musicality. This class will be completed at the ballet barre. 

Tuesday (Ballet Center):Students will learn classical ballet, ballet enrichment, and terminology. Classes will focus on ballet technique, proper body alignment, vocabulary, and musicality. This class will be completed in center. 

Wednesday (Lyrical/Jazz):An expressive form of dance performed to contemporary/jazz music. This class may combine the techniques of modern dance, ballet, and jazz.

Thursday (Fitness):  Every nine weeks this class will rotate to a different form of fitness that will help their overall dance technique, encourage healthy eating habits, and teach students how to obtain a healthy lifestyle. The fitness classes that will rotate are: zumba/dance fitness, dance conditioning, pilates, and yoga/stretching.

Friday (Choreography): Students will be taught choreography for performances.
