Duolingo is an American language-learning website and mobile app, as well as a digital language-proficiency assessment exam. Duolingo is the most popular language-learning platform and the most downloaded education app in the world, with more than 300 million users. The company's mission is to make education free, fun, and accessible to all. Duolingo is designed to feel like a game and scientifically proven to be effective. Duolingo is a great tool for students and educators to get the most out of their time together in the classroom. Whether as an extra credit homework assignment, an in-class exercise, or as a way for students to stay language fit over the summer.

 

It's vitally important in today's society and work-force that we know how to communicate effectively with people who speak English as a second language or who speak another world language. Spanish is the most common world language spoken in our area. For this reason, all students in all classes of Spanish and Business Education at Bishop Hall will have an exposure to culture and language and beliefs that will help you to be more successful, more productive, and better equipped to reach your goals. 

 

Instructions:

• Be sure to join only the class that is shown on your schedule. If you take more than one class, join each class that is on your schedule. 
• Be sure to elect to share your progress with Sr. Braswell when creating your account and/or profile so that your progress is shared with your teacher.
• Select the option that you don't have prior knowledge of Spanish. 
• Use your real name as shown in Infinite Campus. Don't use nicknames.
• Use your school email. Don't use personal emails.
