Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Dr. Yvette Morrell. Education is my second career. I was a special education teacher for 20 years before becoming the Director of the Pathways Educational Program. I am a US Army veteran. After leaving the Army, I earned a B.S. in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University. I was then certified as a special education teacher through the Troops to Teacher program and the Metro RESA Georgia Teacher Alternative Preparation Program. I later earned an M.Ed. in Reading and Math from Walden University and an Ed.S. in Teacher Leadership and Brain-Based Learning from Nova Southeastern University. I completed my EdD in Special Education from Walden University.
