Describing
Using and understanding descriptions of objects is an important part of building vocabulary.
Take turns with your child describing objects or pictured objects around the house, outside, or in a book. Give 3-4 clues about the object. Consider using the following characteristics:

What does is smell, taste, or feel like

Parts
For example if describing a banana:

You would buy it at the grocery store or find it in the kitchen(where)
