TCMS Students Earn Noteworthy, Excellent, & Superior Scores at World Languages Poetry Recitation Competition

Sixth and seventh-grade MERIT Spanish students recently participated in a Spanish Poetry Recitation Competition at East Coweta High School in Sharpsburg, GA. Students learned and performed a poem in Spanish before a panel of judges. Students were judged on pronunciation, interpretation of the text, smoothness of delivery, and textural accuracy. Students received two noteworthy scores, seven excellent scores, and eight superior scores!

TCMS Girls' Conditioning Classes will participate in the Downtown Thomasville Christmas Parade on December 6, 2021, @ 6:30 PM!

Skate World Field Trip to Tallahassee, Florida is scheduled for December 8, 2021, from 9 AM-1 PM!!!

TCMS Wrestlers Place in "Little Packer Classic"

TCMS Wrestling Team competed at the "Little Packer Classic" in Colquitt County on Saturday, November 6, 2021.  The following six wrestlers received medals from the tournament:

Newton's Laws of Motion at Work

Eighth-grade MERIT science students recently built air-powered cars as they studied energy transfers and transformations. Using the engineering design process, students had to get the car to roll straight along a 25-foot track. The students were also introduced to the concepts of force, motion, and Newton's Laws of Motion.
