Kids Heart Challenge

KHC

Cross Creek Elementary students recently participated in our annual Kids Heart Challenge sponsored by the American Heart Association.  The challenge is a fun and exciting way to teach students how to take care of their hearts and help others by raising money for the American Heart Association.  Students learned of other children who were born with heart issues that prohibit them from being able to participate in different activities.

This year, $5,830 was raised by students.  Our top fundraiser was Carson Morales.  Karson McCutchen, Keya Patel, and Julia James rounded out the top four.  Students who raised $100 were able to throw a pie in the face of one of the coaches.  Students who raised $200 were able to throw a pie in the face of all three coaches.  We appreciate all of the community support in donating to this worthy cause.
