TCMS Students Lead Hand-in-Hand STEM Activities

Students from Thomas County Middle School's Zulu team spent a morning at Hand-in-Hand Primary School creating shapes with the preschool and kindergarten students. The STEM activity engaged the students and increased their knowledge of two and three-dimensional shapes by constructing designs using marshmallows and spaghetti noodles. In another activity, the students built catapults out of balloons and plastic cups. They used marshmallows to learn how far objects could be projected.
