Students constructed a model of a comet in Mrs. Sturrup's sixth-grade science class. In particular, they were able to illustrate the length and direction of a comet's tail in relation to our Sun.  Using dry ice, students constructed a model of a comet. Pictured below is Jordan Tillman and to the left is Deonna Thomas acting as the Sun's solar winds and blowing back it's tail!
