Thomas County Middle School MERIT student Joshua Stephens entered a contest to send a science experiment into space.  His proposal was selected by Science World magazine to occupy a top position on the JP Aerospace Pongsat launch to take place in April.  The launch will take Joshua’s science experiment into the Stratosphere after which it will be sent back to him to analyze the effects of low temperatures, weightlessness, and reduced air pressure.
