The FIRST® Lego League competition teams visited the National Weather Center at the FSU campus to learn more about natural disasters.  Meteorologist Cassanova Nurse from WTXL also gave them a tour of the news studio and talked with them about how he prepares the weather forecast.  They also had a demonstration of the green screen and got to see themselves on the monitor.  In December, they will go to competition.  This year’s theme is “Nature’s Fury.”  They are working on projects to help prevent, respond or recover when a natural disaster strikes.
