Thomas County kindergarteners in Holli Rossi’s class at Hand In Hand Primary School engage in a letter-writing activity during a social studies unit that revolves around wants and needs.  To reflect upon their own wants and needs, the students write letters to Santa that include one of each.  The class discusses the parts of a letter: the greeting, the body, and the closing as well as addressing a letter and including a stamp before mailing their letters to the North Pole!  

Hand In Hand Primary School kindergarteners travel to the post office to mail letters to Santa and then to a theater to watch “Santa Buddies” and enjoy a drink and popcorn!
