Eagle Eyes

Eagle Eyes

Ms. Dorminey and Mrs. Hutchings’ homerooms at Cross Creek Elementary started observing the Eaglecam through Berry College as a kick off to their unit on Georgia Habitats. Throughout the last several weeks, students observed, participated in lesson plan activities through the Berry College Eagles website, and even wrote letters to the eagles. As students awaited the arrival of the two eggs that are currently being watched by both Mom and Dad eagle, they were able to learn about the Mountain region of Georgia, eagle habitats, diet, and how eagles nest.

Students mailed letters and artwork to the Public Relations Department at Berry College and are eagerly awaiting a response from the eagles as well as a glimpse of the soon to hatch baby eagles.
