Ms. Rice and Mrs. Robertson are proud that each of their classes worked so hard to raise the most donations. Mrs. Robertson said, “I was so impressed with the generosity of my students, some of whom donated their own personal savings.” Ms. Rice had a shining star in her class. Her K-Kid representative, Alaina Gay, went around her neighborhood collecting donations. Ms. West, K-Kids Faculty Advisor, said, “Our K-Kids student representatives may be young, but what matters most is the size of their hearts and effort to make a difference in our community. This is just one way our K-Kids Club gives back. There's no limit to what a determined child will accomplish when they're working for a good cause.” Mrs. Aracri, K-Kids Faculty Advisor, said, “I'm so proud of our students at Cross Creek. Every penny they contributed helps to care for animals and connect them with a good home.”

The K-Kids are thankful to The First Bank & Ameris Bank for counting the coins that were donated.
