*R is made with your tongue, NOT your lips!

*Hold your mouth slightly open

*Pull your tongue up and back

*Your tongue muscles should be strong, not weak when making the /r/ sound

*The sides of your tongue should be pressing against the inside of your top back teeth.

*Practice in front of a mirror so you can see what your tongue is doing.
