Rice and Beason's Behavior Plan
2023-2024
These Core Rules are enforced school-wide:
-Bee Respectful
-Bee Responsible
-Bee Ready
These are our classroom rules that fall under the school-wide rules:
1. Follow directions quickly
2. Raise their hands and get permission before they walk or talk.
3. Always be prepared.
4. Keep hands, feet and objects to themselves (keep self to self).
5. Respect yourselves, others and school property.
6. Always be kind!
Class Dojo will be implemented to help mostly with positive behaviors and help track negative behaviors. Parents will be advised to join their child’s dojo so they can see daily how their child is behaving in school.
Students must also have a 70% or higher on their ALL TIME dojo points to participate in PBIS activities, field trips, and YMCA picnic.
We will strive to make notice of positive behaviors and have some exciting things planned to reward positive behaviors. Consequences for negative behaviors will be:
· Parent contact
· Detention(lunch)
· Office visit and/or ISS
Students will receive a positive Dojo point when they are “caught” following the rules. When the student is not following the class rules they will receive one warning and then they will get a Dojo point taken away when they are not following the class rules.
Positive Dojo Rewards:
When the students reach a certain amount of points throughout the year they get to choose candy OR a coupon. points generate ALL year with the end goal of receiving 280 points. By Christmas if students have 80 points they will receive a pizza party. After Christmas break students will pick back up with the same amount of points.
