Welcome to Honors Life Science. We will be covering 7th grade Life Science standards as well as delving into many of the high school biology standards. It's going to be a great year!

- Needs and Characteristics Unit
Students will be learning about the needs and characteristics of living things. There are 6 characteristics that we are studying that all organisms must have to be considered living. These notes are in a foldable and notebook. Also, there are 4 needs of living things. Our mnemonic for these needs is FWAP. The last section of this unit is called The Chemicals of Life, and covers macromolecules. This section covers information from high school biology standards. Needs and Characteristics Unit Test is Thursday, Sept. 22.The test covers #19-25 in notebooks.
