The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) has posted to its website a Parent’s Question and Answer flyer at Georgia Milestones Parent Question and Answer Brochure.  This document will provide answers to questions you may have about Georgia Milestones For a number of years, the GaDOE has offered online test administrations as part of the state’s student assessment program.  The Georgia Milestones Assessment System will continue, and expand upon, the availability of online testing.

Thomas County Middle School will be testing students online during our upcoming spring administration of the Georgia Milestones assessment.  The information below is provided to assist you and your student in becoming familiar with the features of online testing.

• A website, called Experience Online Testing Georgia, has been established to provide an opportunity for students to become familiar with the online testing platform.  The website can be found at this link:  http://www.gaexperienceonline.com/. This practice site does not require a log-in and is available 7 days a week.  Importantly, this practice site is not designed as a “practice test” to measure a student’s knowledge of course content and scores will not be generated.  Again, its intention is to allow students to familiarize themselves with the online platform prior to testing.  

• We will also be setting up practice sessions during the school day to provide students a similar opportunity to acquaint themselves with the online testing system.
