Students in Ms. McDonald and Ms. Henley's class worked together as a team to search through newspaper inserts and locate money saving coupons. Students cut, sorted, and organized the coupons in an effort to strengthen adaptive living and independent functional skills. Not only will the students use the coupons in shopping for their cooking lessons, faculty and staff will have access to them as well for their use. The students will maintain the coupon container by monitoring expiration dates as well as keeping stock.
