Students Earn a Seat in the 2018-2019 GMEA District 2 Honor Band

Students from Thomas County Middle School recently auditioned for the Georgia Music Educators Association District 2 Honor Band. Out of hundreds of students who auditioned, twenty-four promising young musicians from Thomas County Middle School earned a seat.

Pictured below on the front row from left to right, playing the clarinet is Morgan Loper, Alicia Sholar, Sommerleigh Cromer, Hannabelle Fulgencio, Alyssa Bradshaw, and playing the flute is Jordan Coaker, Savana Manning, Phoebe Esra, Jazmyn Barber, and Janaye Bell.  On the second row from left to right playing the clarinet is Leigha Hunt and Brooke Lancaster, playing the trumpet is Jack Emmett and T.C. Cone, playing the tuba is Ryan Swearingen, playing the trombone is Tyler Laidman, Jenna Coaker, and Maddie Anderson, playing the bass clarinet is Mason Powell, playing the tenor sax is Shelby Bryant, playing the alto sax is Mallory Bustle, playing the french horn is Rebekah Horton and Caleb Kinneer.  Standing in the back from the left is TCMS Band Director Ryan Booth, percussionist Tessa Thomas, and TCMS Band Director William Majors.
