Be The Voice Campaign

BTV1

Thomas County Middle School kicked off their “Be The Voice” campaign Friday morning. “Be The Voice” (BTV) is a program designed to empower students to bypass the bully and support the victim in a safe, non-confrontational way. The program was purchased by the Thomasville Rotary Club. Ms. Ashley Vincent, eighth-grade counselor, formed a BTV group of students to lead the campaign. The BTV group welcomed students to school on the bus line and car drop off lines with stickers on the kick off day. Videos were shown in every classroom at TCMS that morning explaining the program. Our BTV program will run over the next several weeks with each Friday being the day that teachers show a video that will help empower students in kindness, compassion, and inclusion.
