I hope this message finds all of you spending time with your families in the safest and most responsible way possible. I would like to offer some guidance on submitting MERIT applications for the 2020-2021 school year. I am asking that ALL applications be submitted digitally to me via email. If you previously submitted a paper application to your 4th grade teacher, please submit a new digital application to me.  If you are a 4th grade parent from Cross Creek, your 4th grade teachers will submit a recommendation on your behalf. There will be no need to contact them requesting the recommendation. 

If you are from another school system, please email me requesting a form and I will send you the teacher recommendation form.  You may then send the recommendation form to a teacher of your choice. They may send the completed form to me digitally. The deadline for MERIT applications will be extended to May 1, 2020.  Each family will receive a letter informing them of acceptance into MERIT or placement on a general education team. I look forward to receiving these as we prepare for an amazing school year in 2020-2021.  Stay safe and be smart!
