Fifth-grade MERIT students in Ashley Lanatta's class recently investigated erosion and deposition using stream tables. Students observed the creation of meanders and deltas as the water eroded sediment to the mouth of the stream. The students will see first-hand the effects of erosion as they travel to Providence Canyon in a few weeks.
