Students in Mrs. Crawford-Walker's ELA 6th grade class shared the 'LOVE' of Figurative Language in Poetry. Students wrote love poems about people or things that they love. The students had to use a variety of figurative language in the pieces. As an assessment, students worked with partners to identify the elements of figurative language in each other's poetry.
