Band students from Thomas County Middle School recently participated in the South Georgia Region Honor Band Clinic that took place April 7 - 9, 2022, at Valdosta State University. The clinic culminated in a public concert performance that took place in VSU's Whitehead Auditorium on April 9.

"The South Georgia Region Honor Band consists of students from schools hailing from GMEA Districts 2, 8, and 11. Basically, it includes all schools south of Macon, GA. Students compete in an extensive audition process in order to qualify for this honor band," stated William Majors, TCMS Band Director.

"We are very proud of these students for representing TCMS in one of the most prestigious band events in the state of Georgia."
