Congratulations to Ella Barwick for recently winning the Thomas County Farm Bureau Bookmark Design Contest. Students in exploratory agriculture classes were asked to create an original bookmark with their interpretation of agriculture in Georgia and write a short paragraph about the importance of agriculture.

Entries were submitted to the local Farm Bureau office, and Ella's entry was selected as the county winner. Ella received a certificate and $25 for her accomplishment. Her design will now advance to the district and state-level competition.
