Students in Ms. Cook's science classes recently learned about different technology and structures that are built to prevent flooding. Students took notes and then tested their knowledge by building a city of their own.

Students used the game "Don't Flood the Fidgits" to create a city of their own and add items to prevent flooding in their city. Students then wrote about what they learned and what they could do differently to save their city. Students also compared how this activity relates to real life in the development of coastal cities.
