TCMS LOCAL SCIENCE FAIR
The Thomas County Middle School Science Fair was held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in the TCMS Media Center. Winners from the school fair will move on to compete in the Region Science Fair held at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) on February 16, 2024. School-level winners included:

1st Overall Winner & Recipient of The Jackie Winchester Award: Sarakate Pannell
The Overall TCMS Science Fair winner earns the Jackie Winchester Award. This award, donated by Sunnie Wynn, honors the late Mrs. Jackie Winchester who taught for over 40 years and was a great advocate of the Science Fair. This year’s winner of the Jackie Winchester Award was Sarakate Pannell for her project entitled ‘Extra Protein: Yea or Nay?’.
