Students in Ms. Boykins' eighth grade ELA class recently presented objective summaries on a Scholastic Scope non-fiction narrative of a 13-year-old girl who daringly climbed Mount Everest, one of the highest mountains in the world. Students were able to work together to discuss significant events in the story as they relate to obstacles and journeys in their own lives.
