Zulu Field Trip to Plains, GA

Students from Zulu Company recently went on a field trip to Plains, Georgia, home of 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter. While in Plains, students toured Jimmy Carter's boyhood farm learning how a young Jimmy Carter was shaped by the people of his Archery, GA community and Plains High School (which housed the required grades 1-11 when President Carter was a student).  They also learned how education, reading, and a special teacher also helped shape the future President and inspired his vast impact locally, nationally, and globally. Every location students went, they were walking (and sometimes sitting) in President Jimmy Carter's footsteps!
