Over 50 students from the TCMS MERIT program, along with parents and teachers, recently teamed up with Keep Thomas County Beautiful (KTCB) for the Great American Cleanup. This event aims to clean up communities, prevent litter, and promote environmental conservation.

During the cleanup, students collected over 50 bags of litter from areas around Thomas County. They learned about the importance of preventing litter and how it impacts the community.

By participating in the Great American Cleanup, TCMS MERIT students not only helped make their community cleaner but also gained firsthand experience in environmental stewardship. This initiative demonstrates the impact of community collaboration in keeping our neighborhoods clean and beautiful.
