Independent/Dependent Clauses:  We discussed the homework and we viewed a powerpoint to practice telling the difference between the two clauses.  The lesson is on my website in the Sentence Structure folder under Third Nine Weeks.

Day NINE Sharpening the Saw:  Spend ten minutes writing as many complex sentences as you can.  Hint: Use since, although or when to start your sentences.  All quickwrites Day 1-Day 9 were collected for a grade. 

Independent/Dependent Clauses:  We took a quiz over independent and dependent clauses.
