In light of the recent tragedy in Nepal, the students in Mrs. Hutchings and Ms. Dorminey’s class felt compelled to learn more about the events and also find a way to help the families in Nepal. They began organizing a bake sale with the help of family members, and local businesses. The money the classes raise will be donated to The American Red Cross. The Red Cross has committed an initial $1 million to the relief operation and is working closely with the Nepal Red Cross and the global Red Cross network to coordinate additional support.
