This year's theme of the Georgia School Nutrition Association art contest was "Strong Roots, Strong Future: Georgia Grown". Students were to show Georgia-grown fruits and vegetables that have helped Georgia's students continue to be strong and smart. Laylen Hines placed first at the local and state levels; Lillian Oaksford placed second at the local level; and Abigail Singletary placed third at the local level. Cross Creek's School Nutrition Manager is the local president of Chapter 2 of the Association. Congratulations to all!
