April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to celebrate and honor the sacrifices and experiences of military children.

On Wednesday, April 10, State School Superintendent Richard Woods suggests that each local school district have their faculty, staff and students wear purple to honor and show support for the children of military families in Georgia’s public schools.
