Cross Creek students Daniel Thompson’s (fourth-grade) and Brooklyn Blodgett’s (third-grade) writings have been selected for entry in this year’s Georgia Young Authors Writing Competition.  Each year students across the state of Georgia participate in this contest, which is sponsored by the Georgia Department of Education.  Original student writing in the categories of poetry, short stories, and personal narratives (to name a few) may be submitted.  Our grade level winners are shown in the picture with Principal Jamie Thompson.
