Each year, Mrs. James, Cross Creek’s media specialist, puts up a Christmas tree made out of library books.  As classes rotate through the media center, students and teachers estimate how many books they think are in the tree.  There were 171 books used to create the tree. Mandy Rice was our teacher winner with her estimate of 172 books.  Bristol Wade and Lyra McLain (who won last year, too) were winners with their estimates of 172 books as well.  Congratulations to our winners!
