Cross Creek's fourth-grade students recently participated in the annual Fair Bear Writing Competition sponsored by the Georgia National Fair. This year's theme, "Fair Bear Visits the Fire Department" asked students to write a story of Fair Bear visiting the Fire Department and spending the day with a firefighter. This is something he has always wanted to do.

Congratulations to our winners of the competition. First place was awarded to Abdullah Opebiyi. Libby Strickland placed second(not pictured) and Ivey Clapper placed third. We are proud of our writers!
