The Envision School Grant will help Hand-In-Hand strengthen our practice of Conscious Discipline and the development of emotional regulation skills for our students. Conscious Discipline is a social-emotional learning program that fosters the growth of a healthy environment by shifting from traditional discipline to classrooms and homes that are governed by safety, connection, helpfulness, and intrinsic motivation. The goal of the program is for adults and children to gain the necessary self-regulation skills to enhance social, emotional, and academic learning.
