Thomas County students in Teresa Colon’s three-year-old pre-kindergarten class at Hand-In-Hand Primary School spend time implementing planned activities to facilitate the development of coordination and fine motor skills of children.  Accredited pre-kindergarten educational programs provide activities that include: cutting paper with scissors, tracing and drawing various shapes and figures such as circles and squares, and turning the pages of a book.  Cutting paper specifically develops hand-eye coordination as children learn to watch where they are cutting, using their eyes to guide how they should move next. Pictured:  Teresa Colon, Jax Brady, CJ Thomas, Mallory Logue, and Maddox Davis.
