Thomas County kindergarteners at Hand-In-Hand Primary School created banners that won top honors in the local and state-level Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Junior Citizens Contest themed: “The 200th Anniversary of the Santa Fe Trail:  Moving Stars and Stripes Westward.”
