Several of our students recently participated in a postcard contest sponsored by the President Jimmy Carter National Historical Park and Plains Festival.

The theme of the postcard contest was: History in a Nutshell-Plains, Peanuts, and a President. There were 1, 986 entries in this statewide contest.

Garrison-Pilcher Elementary school has three winners:

1st Grade-First Place winner.....Aurora Brue

2nd Grade-First Place winner.....Isla Farlow

2nd Grade-Third Place winner....Jayceon Glenn
