Thomas County first graders in Amy Bennett’s class at Garrison-Pilcher Elementary School who meet their AR goals are allowed to celebrate by having a picnic lunch with their teacher in the outdoor courtyard area outside of the cafeteria.  Students are also rewarded through visits to the AR Store where items may be purchased according to their number of points earned as well as inclusion in big, school-wide AR Celebrations that occur at the end of every nine weeks.
