Thomas County School System hosted their first Art Show this Spring. It was a joined effort from all our amazing and talented art teachers. They combined the work of students across our system to put on showcase for parents and the community. You could hear the buzz about the pieces all over the room. So much talent is represented in our school system. 

Ms. Parker-Priest, art teacher at Garrison-Pilcher, said she enjoyed this event and hopes to see more of them in the future. She was thrilled to see the art work from previous students that she taught. Just having all the schools together in one room showcasing their talented students allowed you to see how much they grow. 

I overheard several parents and community members asking about buying pieces that they loved, the art pieces were truly unremarkable. Student Fischer Blue couldn't wait to show his father Graham Blue his masterpiece.
