Thomas County Garrison-Pilcher Elementary School recognizes first and second graders for outstanding character attributes on a monthly basis.  Homeroom teachers selected one child per class that exemplified the character word for September:  self-control.  These October Character Kids represented what “self-control” looks like each and every day – even wearing Halloween costumes!
