Two Thomas County students at Garrison Pilcher Elementary School won 1st place at the local and district levels of the National Garden Club's Smokey Bear & Woodsy Owl Poster Contest. Lilly Hutchinson (2nd grade) and Piper Eidson (1st grade) both completed posters for the competition. Their posters will now advance and enter into the state competition.
