Several Cross Creek Elementary students submitted entries to the Magnolia High School Alumni Association's Black History Essay Writing Contest. Three fourth-grade students Lauren Majors, Jenna Murphy, and Anna-Lora Payne placed in the Top Ten out of 530 submissions.
