Reading Together

Reading picture books together is a great way to expand language use and understanding! While reading the book it is great to have your child point to the words with you to increase literacy knowledge (e.g. we read left-to-right and top-to-bottom). You don't even have to always read the physical story! Instead you can describe the pictures or let your child tell you the story based on the pictures. The language possibilities are endless so snuggle in close with a good book whenever you can!
