Description:

"Future City starts with a question—how can we make the world a better place? Future City is a hands-on cross-curricular educational program that brings STEM to life for students in grades 6 through 8. Using the Engineering Design Process (EDP) and project management skills, students showcase their solutions to a citywide sustainability issue." Student groups will be required to create the following for competition: City Essay (up to 1,500 words), City Model, City Presentation, City Q&A (interview), and Project Plan. State each year is in Atlanta and Nationals is in Washington D.C.

Applications will be open in August for the upcoming team(s). Applications also require a recommendation preferably from Mr. Hanna or a STEM teacher (IE, Science Teacher, other STEM club coach, Lego League coach, etc.).
