The TCCHS Helium Balloon Project is an ongoing fun activity involving a class of adaptive special education students at Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, Georgia.   The project is designed around biodegradable helium-filled latex balloons which when launched contain contact information to determine the geographic location of the landing. The project investigation is student-centered, involving Science, Geography, and Math.
